Inspired by a the death of George Floyd and a video posted shortly thereafter by Trevor Noah, this original song and video tells the humbling story of Whiskey Flower's awakening to systemic racism and all there is for us to continue to learn about our own white privilege. The path to real change begins with conversation.

About the band
An Americana-Pop duo that was born in the Pandemic out of friends desiring live music on their driveway, Whiskey Flower is made up of bass player and background vocalist Holly Lucille (Time Magazine’s Alt 100 List) and songwriter, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitar player Julie Neumark (Dimestore Halo, Hyena Records)
Fun fact: the two are both bandmates and life mates (yep, married for 14 years).
