Rock Americana Where Grit Meets Grace.

Whiskey Flower is the formerly LA-based, newly Santa Fe-based creative partnership of Julie Neumark and Holly Lucille, performing as a powerful, rootsy duo or full band for select shows. Their music brings a more assertive edge to rock Americana, balancing grit and vulnerability with songs that feel unfiltered, lived-in, and emotionally alive. Built on Neumark’s songwriting, tight vocal harmonies with Lucille, melodic bass, and percussive rhythm guitar, Whiskey Flower creates a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.

Before Whiskey Flower, Neumark released music as a solo artist through Hyena Records Benelux and Lonesome Day Records USA, and toured internationally as an opener for Grammy-nominated blues-rock artist Beth Hart, including two tours in the Netherlands.

In Whiskey Flower, Neumark drives the rhythm with percussive acoustic guitar and a foot drum, while Lucille’s melodic, almost lead-style bass playing carries much of the movement and musical color. Together, their vocal harmonies and stripped-down instrumentation create a sound that feels bigger than two people, without losing its intimacy.

Their current release cycle centers on double yellow lines, produced by Grammy-winning producer John Would. The EP’s songs were recorded live in the studio with the full band playing together, giving the recordings the immediacy, chemistry, and human edge that also define Whiskey Flower’s live set.
